There’s a lot of noise in the bridal HMUA industry so it’s a good idea to get clarity on your unique proposition to attract dream clients.
But how?
Here are 3 ways to find your USP within the marketplace:
What style are you most passionate about?
As the saying goes ‘where there’s passion, there’s money’. If you’re trying to cover every angle, every style and every vibe, you’ll burn out and end up hating what you’re doing. You’ll LOSE your passion. If you can hit upon your favourite styles and focus on them, you’ll enjoy it a whole lot more (and brides will also feel less confused on your page!)
What’s currently ‘trending’?
Figure out which styles brides right now are willing to pay for. Not just what you love, but bridal hair or makeup styles that are currently in high demand. There’s always room to add strings to your bow and trends are ever-changing. Don’t forget, trends come back around, too. Once you know how to do something, it stays with you.
Master it!
Once you’ve found your niche…master it. It’s time to invest all your time and money into fine-tuning your skills to start to attract your dream clients.
Until you know these three things, you won’t have hit your ‘sweet spot’. What you want is to not just be going this for the money but for the enjoyment of your craft.
And let me tell you…brides are ACTIVELY seeking these kinds of bridal hair and makeup artists right now.
