I started my journey as a hair and makeup artist when I was trying to turn my life around.
I was working on rebuilding myself, consuming every piece of information I could on building a freelance business which worked around my new life.
A friend called me one day and asked if I wanted to accompany her to a national beauty show.
She suggested I take a course on how to become a professional makeup artist, at the time I was down on my luck, and 4 months pregnant so I had little to lose so I agreed.
My first freelance business was born (2008) Cambridge Makeup Artist.
Then the world of Facebook and Instagram opened up to businesses and everything grew exponentially.
I created a bridal agency which reached 6 figures with a team of 12.
But this didn’t happen because it happened to me.
